Hi all my name is Paul Pryor, I have a 43 ft. steel cruiser called "Rumba" we have owned her for 23 years and after using various auto electricians. I was introduced about 7 years ago to Steve from Sweens auto electrical. Steve and I installed 1400 watts of solar and a Victron Solar controller, and 6 x 12-volt Revolution Lithium LiFePo4 Deep Cycle Batteries plus a 3000 Victron Quatro invertor - charger, plus a 50-amp Victron charger. 2 x DC/DC Chargers from the start batteries.
He also installed an Electrolux 3000-watts and 240 volts alternator all running through the Victron control system. I have a 5.8 Kw Westerbeck Genset, and a Deep-Sea Electronics Auto start for the genset. Steve rewired the boat, and everything has worked better than we expected for the last 7 years we have lived on the boat not in a marina everything runs on 240 volts.

We have used Steve for marine electrical for a couple of years now and love Steve's professional and very knowledgeable approach to all jobs aboard our vessel.
We recently undertook a solar upgrade with 1200 watts of new panels installed along with new chargers, inverter and lithium battery bank.
This has been a game changers for us and wouldn't have be able to do it without Steve's ideas and approach to the job.

Examples of his tips are: change our house bank from 12v to 24v · install larger solar panels, not a hydro-generator · install a separate freezer and an air conditioner · change our cooking appliances from gas to electric.
